Pumpkin Spice and Nuclear Winter

Is it the fear of death that inspires such a sudden need for comfort this time of year? Nostalgia peaks. Thoughts turn backward. Memories rule. Autumn. Time for nutmeg! Or is it cinnamon? Ginger? Scent is the strongest tie to memory. Maybe we need to make fall stop smelling like time?

But how? And what would the coffee companies do with all their syrup deposits? Such ideas threaten to cripple economies. Perhaps it’s best we roll with the punches on this one.
